""Toulon"" : First military port in France, Toulon has not always been a tourist destination. Its military activities have, until the middle of the 19th century, driven holidaymakers to Marseille and St Tropez. However, the city has never lacked interest: Its Romanesque cathedral of Sainte-Marie-de-la-Seds, the Toulon Opera House (the largest in the province), its royal tower which protected in the past, the harbor from enemy attacks, and its many museums and art galleries have made the city a place of great cultural interest.

When arriving in Toulon, do not miss the Clock Tower which is located at the entrance to the naval base. Do not forget to pass by the side of the Place Louis Blanc and the historic center.

Toulon is home to beautiful Hausmanian-style buildings dating from the 19th century. It is in this part of the city that the Place de la Liberté and the train station are located.

"Hyères" stretches over the peninsula of Giens , between sky and sea. ""Tourtour"" : A village in the sky of Provence Perched on a promontory at an altitude of more than 600m, Tourtour dominates the pine forests that it overlooks. "Bormes-les-mimosas" (40 km from Carnoules): On the hillside, this picturesque Provençal village is one of the most beautiful flowered villages in France. Drowned under the golden flowering of mimosas in February, it is covered with flowers in spring. Its coastline offers very beautiful beaches, including Estagnol beach (it is one of the most beautiful fine sand beaches in the Mediterranean. Its lagoon, appreciated for its wild appearance and crystal clear water, allows you to walk for a long time and facilitates swimming for toddlers) and is home to the famous Fort de Brégançon.

" Sillans-la-Cascade" : It is by crossing Sillans-la-Cascade that you realize the perched character of this charming village.From the road that borders it, you can see, buried in the greenery, the surrounding walls and the towers of the medieval castle. Impossible to mention all the treasures of the Var... but I forgot to mention the village of "Varages" and its earthenware artisans! Earthenware production has continued in this village since the 17th century. Some artisans today bring different styles with more contemporary designs. Others, on the contrary, endeavor to reproduce and perpetuate the traditional style by using forms and decorations which have made the reputation of the Earthenware of Varages. There is no doubt that everyone will find their happiness there.
